I was initiated as a Reiki Master under the hand of Sigung Hasting Albo of Xen Martial Arts and Healing Arts Academy in Anthony, Texas, where I also studied Xen wu shu and qi gong. Sigung Albo was initiated under the hand of Lao Xie Christopher Matsuo of Dragon Gate Sanctuary in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ours is a lineage of martial artists for whom qi gong is the foundation of Reiki.
I created Desert Lotus and began practicing as a full-time Reiki Master in 2006. I have been studying martial arts since 1999.

Continuing Education
The Reiki I class is now approved for 8.0 continuing education units for Texas and New Mexico nurses, as well as EMS certificants. Reiki I, II and III, and Meditation for Beginners are eligible for continuing education credit for massage therapists. See more details on the Continuing Education page.
